I started my first venture in business way back in 2006. At that time I was really young and did not even go through any form of business school but started my first off line business in editing private server game called RAN ONLINE.
RAN Online is a free 3D ‘campus-based’ MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role playing game). The concept is based around several schools competing for control. Developed by Min Communications of Korea, RAN Online has become one of the most played MMORPGs in Malaysia, China, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan and the Philippines. It is completely free to play and uses the virtual item asset model.
After 1 Year of running the Private Server and being ADMINISTRATOR of the game. I was not making much money. The highest profits I made back then in one month was only $300, and that was not even enough to cover the rental ($500 a month) of the dedicated server that I rented. To make things worse, I even had 2 other partners to work with in which 1 of them were sleeping partner and most of the marketing was planned and managed by me.
At that time, I did not worry too much about if the business was making money as I have my relatives to work for our financial needs at that time, and I used most of my savings just to pay for the rental of the server, and to gain lots of experience from running the online/offline business.
Doing Online/Offline Business Is Hard!
If you ever tried running an online/offline business, I can tell you for sure that it’s far worse than online marketing! You know why? It’s because you have to be physically around the data of the server EVERYDAY just to generate more players and make your server be on the top in ranking and that’s no fun guys! I can still remember the times when I’m working, I would pay a lot of money just to advertise and drive all my players to calm down when my server got a problem. After many hours of sitting in the chair sometimes many players will shout you. So you can imagine how bad business was! I was really losing lots and lots of money and confidence!
Enough Was Enough I Closed The Game After 3 Months
As the business was not doing well and my partners were all basically too lazy to market the business, I told myself enough was enough; I want to close the Game! In about 2 months, the business was closed and the nightmare came when we still had rental of $500 to pay every month split between ourselves. I can tell you from 1st hand experience paying for rental of the server and not making money out of it is a HUGE PAIN to your wallet!
Some Where In 2008, I Started the Game Again
After about 3 months of working in my game server, I just could not take the pressure of always getting under paid and over worked. I decided to continue what i started before and spend again a lot of money the server changes a lot and now (As Of Today Is Known As TROWS RAN ONLINE). This time round I was much smarter, I continued to do what I know best and that was being amazing because i gather a lot of players and paying me for each item they want.
The great thing about this game was the server have small amount rental to be paid for running the game and the cost to run it was less then $100 a month However, the game still did not run as well as expected when I started my first online/offline business. So I therefore decided to start learning about Internet Marketing in June 2009.
I Was A Real Newbie Back Then
I did not know who was who back then and I was simply blindly learning from different Gurus. The shocking thing I realized back then which also applies in today context was that, there were many fake Gurus’ out there and it was really hard to find a good honest Guru. For some reason, I found Yaro Starak as an honest marketer. I didn’t take the course yet of his Marketing System called BLOG MASTERMIND but i enjoying to read his blog specially his newsletter. The real profit is i really learn a lot from him.
My Downline Team Started To Grow And JerwinBlog Was Born!
I was pretty good at getting people to join the program and I had a huge team to support and they really wanted to know how I did my marketing so I decided to setup this blog just to give them updates of what was happening in the business.
In March 2010 I Started Blogging Full Time
Because I really had no other choice but to make money from my online business, I started to blog more seriously and provided as much content as possible on my blog and trying to market my blog extensively! And guess what, my traffic actually grew by almost 200% if not more, and that only happened because I took more action and became more serious about it.
Fast Forward To Today April 2010
I currently make in the of US$5,000 to US$15,000 a month from my efforts on blogging and joining affiliate programs and JerwinBlog today is raising ranked out of 115 Million blogs around the world making it one of the most popular blogs in the world. Also about my goal to make USD$100,000, I only managed to make about $40,000 but I was really happy with this because it was a vast improvement compared to my lousy pay of $1,600 from my previous job.
I have some big plans coming out this year and I am targeting to earn at least USD $250,000 by this year all online. I will be posting my updates as I go along this journey into making my Million Dollar so do subscribe to my blog to keep yourself updated.
And now August 2010 FINALLY!!
I was very insane because the one of my friend offer this social network( facebook look a like ) to me. But i ignore it but im really thankful because one of members of the site try to messages me again and finally i decide to join. The support and advice I have received so far has been invaluable to helping me along the learning curve! There are so many opportunities out there and it is nice to see what my more experienced connections can tell me about these opportunities.
My biggest mistake was not joining early!
I have already got some great contacts and referrals for my other opportunities from this team and am looking forward to see what else I will be able to do with my new network of connections and groups! The thing I LOVE about this social network is the fact that if I am struggling with anything my connections from all over the world can help me within minutes!
People who have joined are all enthused with this social network, literally fallen in love with it and you can just sense this ‘special something’ in the way they participate and interact with each other.
Summary And Thoughts
If there is one thing I would like you to take from this story that I just shared with you it is NEVER EVER TAKES THINGS YOU HAVE FOR GRANTED and you must NEVER EVER WANT TO GIVE UP THAT EASILY because you can see from my story I have constantly failed in my business for the past years, but have persevered to be able to be where I am today. Many times you will fail regardless how of hard you try. But the formula to success is you must learn to LOVE TO FAIL! Do you know why? It’s only when you fail many times that you will be able to learn from your mistakes and IMPROVE and GROW your business.

Yes! Praise him guys because I know you all are players of his game right now, and he made a right choice on resuming it. I hope 1 day he will make a Motorcycle for his game, I had already seen a Big Bike on the Ran Online Philippines but I don’t like it because it cost too much, and have expiration. I know Mr. Jerwin will make a new items for his game for more thrill and more adventure to us.

I think Trows-Ran Online is also known as Fearless-Ran Online right? `Cause I saw a picture and a name of Fearless-Ran on the campuses. I`m also a player of Trows-Ran because its really great even its not balance because of the HR and AR. I was still amaze on how did Mr. Jerwin manage the Trows-Ran and his Blog.

yeah, it’s really hard especially if you are the original creator of it. Even the 2D games are hard, how much more on 3D? If you really want to create your own game, you must have a complete ideas and further thinking ability.
